Anne-Marie Quinn, Managing Director, All Occasions Group

Career History
I established the All Occasions Group in December 1998 and have since built the organization over the past 11 years to a staff of 17. We specialize in conference and event management and I’m proud to say that we have an impressive range of major national and international clients. I’ve spent over 20 years in tourism and hospitality, and it’s thanks to Adelaide Convention Bureau (formerly ACTA), who was my first full time employer back in 1991, that I’ve committed so many wonderful years to this industry.

Greatest Achievement
I have three greatest achievements in what I consider to be the most important areas of my life. The growth and success of my business – All Occasions Group is the career achievement that I am most proud of. I have a wonderful son “Liam” who is now 2.5 years and he brings excitement, fun and lots of challenges to my life. I recently completed the 50km Trailblazer event in just under 9 hours which was an improvement of my previous best time by 18%.

Favourite Pastime
My favourite pastime is hiking in the Adelaide Hills and I love all outdoor, fitness related activities.

Favourite South Australian Holiday Destination
My favourite South Australian holiday destination is the Flinders Rangers. I enjoy the peace and serenity of the landscape and I love the physical challenge provided by Wilpena Pound, the Heysen Trail and Mt Remarkable.

Favourite Adelaide or South Australian Dining Experience
I have three favourites which are all uniquely different. 1918 Bistro and Grill – Tanunda;
House of Chow – Hutt Street; and British India – Morphett Street.

Adelaide as a Destination
Adelaide really is the perfect convention city. Everything is conveniently located and the major facilities are all within walking distance of each other. We are a modern, dynamic city that has retained its fabulous “service ethic” and “can do” attitude.
