Career History
My career to date has been mostly in the operational side of Hotels. I have recently completed my studies in International Hotel Management gaining both my Swiss Hoteliers Diploma and a Bachelor Degree in International Hotel Management. I have always had an interest in the Events and Conventions side of the Industry and working for the Adelaide Convention Bureau is helping me to develop my passion in this industry.

I have worked in Adelaide, Melbourne and Shanghai during my study internships and I have learnt where language fails you, good skills in Charades helps!

Greatest Achievement
One of my greatest and most memorable achievements was being a part of a Hotel Opening in Shanghai, China. During this time I was also a main liaison between the hotel and the Quiddam troupe for Cirque du Soleil’s first performances in China.

Favourite Pastime
My favourite pastimes include picnics & BBQ’s with family and friends, going for scenic drives in the Adelaide Hills or local coastal areas, wine tasting, driving our family owned vintage cars (2 unique and rusty Willy’s Overland Whippets), trying new restaurants and playing with my mischievous Russian Blue kitten, Sebastian.

When I can, I love travelling overseas, exploring new cultures and countries.

Favourite South Australian Holiday Destination
My favourite places in South Australia are Innes National Park (Dolphin Bay) on the Yorke Peninsula and Woolgangi Sheep Station (East of Burra). Both of these areas are special to my family and we regularly have camping trips or beach escapes here.

Favourite Adelaide or South Australian Dining Experience
I have a few different restaurants and cafes that are amongst my favourites Concubine (Chinese), Mesa Lunga (Spanish), Chianti Classico (Italian) & The Elephant Walk (Desserts).

Adelaide as a Destination
Adelaide is the Gateway to such a diverse range of attractions from beautiful beaches, wine regions, outback escapes and a variety of farming lands. Adelaide is easy to navigate and has a wide variety of world-class goods and services to provide to international and interstate visitors as well as locals.
