The Adelaide Convention Centre
The Adelaide Convention Centre situated on the banks of the River Torrens is the first convention centre in Australia to offer Go for Green conference packages that help conference organisers reduce the carbon footprint of events. The multi-purpose facilities of the Adelaide Convention Centre have been enhanced by a stunning extension, which opened in September 2001. With a total area increase of 110%, the extended Centre now accommodates up to 6,500 banquet guests and offers 10,450m2 of pillarless floor space for exhibitions and banquets.
