Profile/Objective of Conference:
More than 450 route development planners and decision-makers joined forces in Adelaide, Australia in April 2010 to explore business opportunities and meet with fellow industry professionals at the 8th ‘Routes Asia’, the region’s largest conference for the air transport industry. Hosted by Adelaide Airport, the Government of South Australia (including South Australian Tourism Commission and Department of Trade & Economic Development) and the Adelaide Convention Bureau, the event saw delegates discussing air service expansion and route performance.

With the attendance of tourism authorities being 100% up on last year, the event was a strong indication of the ever-increasing trend of tourism authorities and airports working together towards a common goal of developing air services.
