SOUTH AUSTRALIAN AND MEDICAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE (SAHMRI)

SAHMRI opened in late 2013 and houses 600+ outstanding researchers, working together to search for better treatment and cures for some of the world’s most challenging diseases.

Specific research themes include; Cancer, Heart Health, Nutrition and Metabolism, Mind and Brain, Infection and Immunity, Aboriginal Health and Healthy Mother’s, Babies & Children.

HEALTH INNOVATION BUILDING (HIB)

The HIB will become home to the Centre of Cancer Biology (CCB), the Science, Creativity, Education Studio (SciCEd) and the Innovation and Collaboration Centre (ICC).

THE UNIVERSITY OF ADELAIDE HEALTH & MEDICAL SCIENCES BUILDING

The new Adelaide Health and Medical Sciences Building opens in early 2017 and is the largest building project in the University of Adelaide’s history that is transforming health treatment, training and discovery.

NEW ROYAL ADELAIDE HOSPITAL

the new Royal Adelaide Hospital (nRAH) will be the state’s flagship public hospital and the cornerstone of the reformed South Australian health system and one of the most technologically advanced in the world. The Royal Adelaide Hospital will remain the major teaching hospital in South Australia, fully integrated with the major universities.
