Adelaide Convention Centre

Set at the heart of Adelaide’s medical, entertainment and cultural precincts, the Adelaide Convention Centre is one of the world’s most modern, flexible and technologically advanced facilities, capable of accommodating a broad range of business events, from meetings of thirty through to conferences of thousands. The Centre recently completed a two-phase, $400 million redevelopment, with the venue’s all new East Building opened in August, 2017. The East Building is home to the Centre’s main Plenary Hall with seating for 3,500. A wonderful showcase of the venue’s incredible flexibility, the Plenary features hinged seating in the roof that can be easily lowered to convert the area from banqueting or exhibition into a theatre-style auditorium, along with the world’s largest rotating seating drums, which can rotate 180 degrees in minutes to quickly re-configure the space. Across its three, seamlessly integrated buildings (East, Central, West), the Centre offers a range of specialist zones and cluster areas for smaller conferences of 250 – 500 delegates, while outdoors, the Riverbank Lawns provide a great activation area.
