With more cases emerging in the Republic of Korea and Italy, the Australian Government has extended travel restrictions to people coming from the Republic of Korea, and put in place new checks for people arriving from Italy.
The Government is putting in place a travel ban in relation to the Republic of Korea. The considerable scale of travel from the Republic of Korea, and the number of COVID-19 cases emerging in that country, presents a high risk of transmission here in Australia.

Adelaide Convention Bureau has released results for the first half of this financial year which show a continuing trend of successful bid wins for conferences to be hosted in Adelaide.

Conference organisers can now see how the expanded Adelaide Convention Centre (ACC) will look at the heart of the redeveloped Riverbank precinct following the launch of a new
“ fly-through” . The video provides a bird’s eye view of the Riverbank precinct along the River Torrens from Adelaide Oval through to the new Royal Adelaide Hospital, as well as a detailed virtual tour of the expanded Centre. Centre chief executive Alec Gilbert said the video gives the viewer a real sense of the space and flexibility of the expanded Centre, its unique location and the spectacular views future delegates will enjoy. “It also brings to life the Centre’s location at the heart of the revitalised Riverbank precinct, which will be a key advantage for conference and event organisers and delegates,” he said.
The Adelaide Convention Bureau and the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI) have forged a relationship that is delivering results well before the world-class $200 million health and medical research institute officially opens its doors later this year.
MORE then 500 new Adelaide Oval jobs will be advertised from Monday, while a further 700 will be filled largely by former AAMI Stadium and SACA workers.
