Join the Adelaide Convention Bureau
The Adelaide Convention Bureau is a private sector, non-profit, membership based organisation supported by the Government of South Australia through the South Australian Tourism Commission and the Adelaide City Council.
Established in 1972 and formerly known as ACTA (Adelaide Convention & Tourism Authority), the organisation adopted a new name, logo and strategic direction to become the Adelaide Convention Bureau in February 2010.
As the peak body for business events in South Australia, the Adelaide Convention Bureau is the official organisation responsible for promoting Adelaide and South Australia as a desirable business meeting and incentive destination. It actively markets and promotes the state both nationally and internationally to convention, meeting, exhibition and incentive travel buyers.
The Adelaide Convention Bureau works to create new business opportunities for its members, introducing them to the lucrative conventions, meetings, exhibitions and corporate incentive travel markets.
The Bureau views its members as partners operating together to showcase the best possible destination that is attractive to national and international business visitors alike. A partnership built on trust and understanding, which offers both the members and Bureau a reciprocal investment.
Current members include accommodation providers, venues, meeting managers, attractions, retailers, restaurants, printers, tour operators, airlines, other travel and transport service providers and the list goes on.
The Adelaide Convention Bureau is committed to ensure all members receive the best possible return on investment, through the many opportunities and resources offered.
