Adelaide Convention Bureau appoints New Account Manager and Membership Manager
The Adelaide Convention Bureau has announced the appointment of Andrew Houey who is joining the company’s sales & marketing team as Account Manager. In the position, Mr Houey will be responsible for attracting and securing convention, corporate meeting and incentive opportunities for Adelaide and South Australia from Asia as well as the Canberra and Brisbane markets.
Andrew joins the Adelaide Convention Bureau from Scene Change where in his role as Technical Director he was responsible for account management and the delivery of client events throughout Australia. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing) and although originally from Melbourne, considers himself a true South Australian after living here for the past 16 years.
In welcoming Andrew to the team, Damien Kitto, Chief Executive of the Adelaide Convention Bureau said “We’re thrilled to attract a person of Andrew’s experience and creativity – a highly desirable attribute in these challenging and competitive times.
